Un bon goût de citron, le parfum du miel & une texture moelleuse, sans oublier le bonheur d'une délicieuse odeur pendant la cuisson, c'est un vrai régal, idéal pour chatouiller les papilles. Essayer et vous verrez par vous-même.
Dans un saladier, fouetter le sucre et les œufs puis ajouter le miel et continuer de bien mélanger. Ajouter ensuite la farine, la levure puis le beurre fondu.
Couper très fin le zeste de citron et le presser pour récupérer le jus, rajouter le tout ainsi que les graines de pavot à la pâte.
Verser dans un moule à cake beurré et fariné s'il n'est pas en silicone et enfourner pendant 40 minutes.

I was really impressed with the outcome of this recipe. The cake was light and the taste was delicate and not overly sweet. Since the author didn't specify the type of flour I used cake flour rather than all purpose since that is what I always use when making pastries. Also, instead of buttering and flouring the loaf pan I used parchment paper. Nothing seems to stick to it, it avoids wasting butter and flour, and practically eliminates cleanup. (There was a tiny amount of leakage from the seams.) When I try a recipe for the first time I don't make changes unless I see an error. This recipe worked fine without modification. However, next time I make it I will add a half cup of soaked raisins to it and see how that works.
